⚠ Public-interest safety guide

Team & Authors

Cricket Safety Guide is published by a small editorial team focused on public-interest safety information. We are independent and accept no money from betting, gambling, or related operators.

Editorial structure

We work as a small editorial team rather than a single named byline. Articles are reviewed against our editorial principles before publication. As named contributors join, they will be listed here with their qualifications and scope of contribution.

If you are a qualified contributor (lawyer specialising in Indian gaming law, mental-health professional working with gambling disorder, cyber-fraud investigator, or experienced consumer-protection journalist) and would like to contribute, please get in touch.

Editorial standards

  • Evidence-based. Claims are grounded in published law, regulatory action, helpline guidance, and documented scam patterns.
  • Plain English (and Hindi where helpful). We write to be understood, not to impress.
  • Conflict-of-interest disclosure. Contributors must disclose any relationship with a betting/gambling/financial-product operator. Any such relationship disqualifies them from writing on that topic.
  • Corrections published openly. Significant corrections are noted with the date of update.
