⚠ Public-interest safety guide

Our Mission

To produce the clearest, most honest public-interest information about online betting-ID scams and related online-fraud risks in India — so readers can recognise the schemes, protect their money and identity, and find legitimate help.

Why this work matters

Online cricket betting platforms are aggressively marketed to Indian users through chat apps, influencers, and disguised ads. Independent, plain-language information that explains how the schemes work — in the same vocabulary readers actually search — is hard to find. The search results that should warn people are often outranked by the operators themselves.

That gap has real consequences: blocked withdrawals, identity-theft from KYC documents, frozen bank accounts caught in mule-account chains, and the mental-health fallout of gambling addiction. This site exists to narrow that gap.

What we commit to

  • Independence. No money from betting, gambling, or related operators — ever.
  • Accuracy. Claims grounded in law, regulator guidance, and documented patterns; corrections welcomed and published.
  • Compassion. We treat readers who have been scammed or are struggling with addiction as people, not statistics.
  • Action. Every page points to concrete next steps and official helplines.
  • Plain language. No jargon for jargon’s sake; Hindi summaries where they help.

What we don’t do

  • We do not recommend or link to any betting operator or “ID provider,” in any form, ever.
  • We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.
  • We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, or KYC documents.

How readers can help

If this work helped you, the most useful thing you can do is share a link with someone who might be tempted by a “cricket ID” pitch — a friend, family member, or someone in a WhatsApp group. Awareness shared before the first deposit is the most valuable kind.
